We will study the science, technology, and ideology necessary for expanding human activities into space and creating new societies on the Moon and Mars. We will also consider the impact this expansion will have on Earth, as well as the societal and value transformations it will bring.
About Us
Who we are
Research the science, technology, and ideology necessary for expanding human activities into space, establishing long-term human settlements on the Moon and Mars, and creating societies. Specifically, we will develop and demonstrate a group of small sensors in space for collecting and analyzing the space environment, such as weather, cosmic rays, and water resources, as well as for monitoring human health. The project will also study the effects of space environments, confined spaces, and low gravity on the human body, as well as the possibility of expanding human capabilities. At the same time, we will consider the impact on Earth and how society and its values will transform.
What we do
From the perspective of the history of life on Earth, the human advance into space is a significant event comparable to the evolution of life on land. At the same time, space exploration will provide human societies with uncharted frontiers. In the long term, life on the moon and Mars is expected to trigger a new evolution of the human species. When we establish a new society on unexplored land, we will be asked to define our ideal society. To discuss these issues, we must take a long-term perspective and break down the boundaries between conventional disciplines, including the humanities and sciences. A common platform is necessary for this purpose. This initiative is a pioneering step in this direction.
