His research focuses on planetary health issues, such as climate change and air pollution. He is currently studying the impact of heat exposure on various disease risks. He is also the principal investigator of the SATREPS project, "Development of an Air Pollution Assessment System Using Satellite Data and a Regional Chemical Transport Model and Creation of a New Base for Air Pollution and Indoor Air Pollution Countermeasures," through which he conducts research on air pollution issues in Central Asia.
