August 2008 - May 2010, she studied Family Life and Parent Education at the graduate school of North Carolina State University in the U.S. and received a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies) from North Carolina State University, USA.
June 2010, she did a one-year internship at the North Carolina Childcare Health and Safety Information Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and at a non-profit organization that operates Head Start, before returning to Japan.
November 2011 - March 2012, Researcher at the NPO Research and Information Center, Graduate School of International Public Policy, Osaka University.
April 2012 - March 2015, she studied policy evaluation methods at the Graduate School of International Public Policy at Osaka University and recieved a Ph.D. in International Public Policy.
